Is your student ready for Traffic Safety?
Will your son or daughter be 15 years of age by the start of class? If so, Traffic Safety Education class will be offered in person at Granite Falls High School. It will go virtually if necessary to fully complete the course.

STEP 1:
You can go on License Express at any time to get a permit number. When you get your permit number, this is not your permit; instead, you need to purchase a permit either online or in person at the DOL.
STEP 2:
Payment - This reserves your seat (ONLINE PAYMENTS ONLY)
STEP 3:
Download and complete the DOL Packet, email a digital copy to thelgeson@gfalls.wednet.edu, or bring a completed hard copy to Granite Falls High School.
Download this DOL packet to your computer, fill it out and the completed packet can be returned using the submit button or printed and brought to Granite Falls High School.
DOL packets are available at the ASB office at Granite Falls High School.
You cannot get the permit until 10 days before class. This is state law.
You will eventually go to the DOL to get your eyes checked and your picture taken, but you don’t have to, to obtain your permit. Do not try to go to the DOL until you have visited their website and registered under License Express. Once registered, we need your permit number to insert you into their system stating that you are registered in the class.
You will earn a .5 elective credit.
